This female has a very complex story! She initially underwent a cosmetic rhinoplasty as a teenager. Then as an adult, she suffered a terrible injury, when a metal pole went through her upper lip, impaling her nose. She developed a Saddle Nose Deformity, with near complete collapse of her nose (you can see she has no bridge on her pre-op lateral photo). Further, she had near complete collapse of her airway, due to both the nasal saddling as well as a severe web inside her left nostril. She underwent a major nasal reconstruction with rib graft, ear cartilage and fascia grafts. Using multiple types of grafts, both her nasal appearance as well as internal nasal airway were restored. She is seen here before and two years post-op.
